A different company quoted him for over a thousand and a month and a half wait to order parts. These guys got it done in under a week including building the part themselves for under half the price. Is Your Vehicle Due For A CVIP?

Under Alberta’s Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program, most trucks, truck-tractors, trailers, and semi-trailers need an annual inspection. Buses seating more than 10 passengers require semi-annual inspections. A vehicle can’t legally operate without a valid CVIP decal and certificate on board.

INTRA-PROVINCIAL
Annual inspection required for commercial trucks, truck-tractors, trailers, and semi-trailers over 11,794 kg registered GVW operating within Alberta.

EXTRA-PROVINCIAL
Annual inspection required at a lower threshold — 4,500 kg registered GVW — for vehicles operating outside Alberta.
